Time use data provide a rich source of information by providing an insight into the behaviour of Dutch citizens in a wide array of domains. The way in which people spend their scarce hours and minutes says a lot about their interests, opportunities and constraints. This project comprises the main report of the most recent data from the Time Use Survey (TBO), which were collected during 2016. The report describes how the Dutch spend their time, but also analyses the background factors. The emphasis in the report is on the relationship between time use and quality of life and the differences between people in different phases of life.
